What should I wear?
What you wear depends on your style. Pick some every-day options and some unexpected things too!
All sessions include unlimited outfit changes so your possibilities are endless. I recommend at least one “timeless”outfit, and a range of others – a sports jersey? a formal dress or suit and tie? I will share info on what photographs well, and how to do quick outfit changes for variety.
Locations
Where should we go?
We can use my studio, or do everything on location. Some seniors have all a full list in mind of where they’d like to have pictures taken. If that’s the case, we’ll review and coordinate details to make it happen. If you don’t have ideas yet, that’s fine too! I have a long list of fav places, and also new ones I’d like to try! Here are some places to consider.
How much do senior pictures cost?
Your senior year only happens once! Before you step into a new chapter, seize the opportunity to capture your current self. Get the best experience by working with a knowledgeable photographer (me!), and pick from a range of heirloom products that will capture this moment in time. Session Fee
The session fee depends on the length of your session. (See “how long are your sessions?” below) A deposit of $225 holds your session date.

Customize a package to what you want. From wall portraits to albums and digital prints, we have a variety of options to choose from.
Collections range from $850-$2,700.

Should I bring props?
Yes Please! Bring items that are meaningful to you – a book, art supplies, sports gear etc, or just bring fun items such as glitter or a hat. Read more here>

Can I bring my BFF?
Absolutely! Having a friend join you for your senior pictures is a great idea. It can help you relax and make the experience more enjoyable. Feel free to bring a friend along to share in this fun adventure!
How Long Are your Sessions?
Sessions range from 1 hour to all day. A typical length is 2-3 hours. I can help you pick the best fit.
Some things to consider: How many locations and outfits do you want? Do you want prints? a wall portrait? an album?
1 Hour Session – We’ll get plenty of images in a 1 hour session. I will share ways to get the most variety in a short amount of time. For example: locations that have a lot of options in a close proximity, and simple ways to change your outfit.
2 Hour Session – This is a good option for many people. It allows time for more than one location and more outfit changes. We don’t feel rushed, and we get a great selection of images.
3 Hour Session – We will cover a lot of ground in a 3 hour session! It is always fun. This is a great choice if you:
– want lots of locations, or two locations that are not close
– want to try more than one hair style
– are interested in an album
Model for a Day – Unlimited options! Ask for details.
Don’t stress about the session length. Let me walk you though the process. We can figure it out at your pre-consult.
Regardless of the session length, we will get amazing images that you will love for years to come!
Why do I Need a Pre-Consult?
It may seem like an extra step, but trust me – it’s valuable.
We will talk about what makes you unique so we customize the session to YOU. We will discuss outfits, locations, props, session length etc. Then on the day of your session we have a game plan, you are more relaxed, and we hit the ground running.
You don’t need to pick out products or a package before the session, but it very helpful see and feel different items (albums, wall portraits etc.) in person. The product guide makes more sense after you see the different items that are available.
Discussing options ahead of time gives you a sense of what is possible. You get time to think, and consider what you want.
If you are interested in a wall-portrait, I can help you determine the best size for your wall. I have software that allows you to preview options at actual size.
All of the pre-planning we do helps you know what to expect, and you’re more relaxed during the session.

Do I get digital files?
Of Course! Retouched digital images are included in each package. Your package can include just digital files, or a mix of products and digital images.
