Xander's Senior Pictures - designmattersphotography

When I met with Xander and his parents at the pre-consult before his session, he said Southwoods Park would be perfect for his senior session. He had been going to the park for years, and had a personal connection to the space. I like Southwoods Park, but I suggested adding other spots for more variety. Xander said no, just Southwoods Park. He was so smart!

There are so many great locations within the park. He brought a range of outfits from casual to formal, but my favorite part was the number of props he brought: His violin, archery, and frisbee golf! Capturing people with their passions is a passion of mine. It was so much fun to get photos of Xander doing the things he loves. It made for some amazing photos!

Pedestrian Bridge

Leading lines on any bridge makes it a “go-to” option. This bridge is no exception. We got some great timeless photos of Xander!

Jamie Hurd Amphitheater

The Amphitheater has been used for Valley High School music events. It was a perfect stage for Xander and his violin. A large pond and a fountain in the background makes a dramic background.
